15 cycle old Ehrynn Frostthorn keeps having this recurring dream about an event in her past that ended up changing her entire life. Stuck in another dimension far away from her home planet, she wishes to become a fairy and follow her cousin Anthea to Arthyrell Academy, school for Fairies and Magic, but she can't seem to tap into her source of power like she used to be able to back before it all happened. Yet, about a week prior to the start of the new semester, that same dream that kept haunting her for the past cycle wakes her up in the middle of the night. It was... different.

Another regular morning has arrived at Silvea and the sun charts the sky in enchanting colours as Ehrynn reflects upon her early days on the planet. The alternate ending to the dream has awakened feelings in her that had long lain dormant during her quiet stay on Silvea and she is beginning to doubt her ability to become a fairy. Yet, that ever so peaceful morning is disrupted when Anthea hurries to inform Ehrynn that Hazel has wandered off and the both find their abilities put to the test as their rescue mission takes them into the dangerous darkness of the Nevadoran Forest.

It's been about a week since the incident in the Nevadoran Forest- the memories are starting to fade and are becoming more surreal as the days pass by, but a single tangible reminder is enough to tell Ehrynn that everything was real; the letter- the invitation. What once seemed impossible or like a distant dream now becomes reality as she joins Anthea and Alex on their trip to the Academies. Answers finally seem within grasp- but as the doors of Arthyrell Academy open up before her, a vague familiarity befalls her and she is left with more questions than she initially set out with.

While Ehrynn is facing her predicament high up in the air, a bunch of second year students at Arthyrell and one of the teachers at the Academy follow the events of the Initiation through a pool of Magic. Yet our focus shifts to a lone fairy on one of the platforms as the Initiation starts to take place. High up above, the fairy sprouts her wings and shows us the first transformation in the series- just in time. As Ehrynn opens her eyes, she finds that she has not fallen to her death, but instead has been saved by a pair of fairies, one of whom is now stretching her hand out to her. Can they trust each other? Can they pass the Initiation together? There's only one way to find out...

Ehrynn cannot believe her eyes. Could it be possible that she is now standing face to face with someone all too familiar to her? It's almost like her sketch came to life and is now looking at her with an astonished yet intrigued glimmer in her eyes. Though, the both of them are not the only ones with more questions than answers. As the younglings try to get to know their newfound dormmates a bit more, all of them are more confused than ever about themselves and the magical journey ahead. Will they be able to see past their differences and make their stay at the Academy a welcoming one?

At the brink of their first day of classes, the younglings find themselves out of their beds on a very early morning for the very first lesson of their Path. Nervous and eager to start as she is, Ehrynn has brought her sketchbook and has seated on the fountain behind the Academy. The day ends up bringing her a lot of impressions and, though she tries to set her mind to the matters at hand, memories of the Hunters come dwelling up again. Will she be able to find answers to the questions that have plagued her mind since her arrival- or at least come closer to the truth?
